The Canadian Retail Building Supply Council (CRBSC) is an umbrella organization comprising the five regional and provincial retail building supply dealers’ associations across Canada. With national membership of over 2000 retail building supply stores and several hundred key suppliers to the sector, the CRBSC is truly representative of the industry at all levels: retail, manufacturing, and distribution. The volume of retail sales for member companies is estimated at over 45 billion dollars, and member retailers and suppliers provide significant employment in their respective communities. All associations are non-profit and owned by their members.
The CRBSC was initially founded to represent the Canadian building supply industry at the federal political level and is still active as an advocate in areas of federal concern. The council has also grown to become a forum, allowing member associations to exchange ideas, information, and best practices for the overall betterment of the industry.

CRBSC Launches New Education Program
The Canadian Retail Building Supply Council would like to announce a new training program for managers and owners of retail hardware and home improvement stores. This industry recognized management training program will develop the skill set needed by the new generation to successfully compete in the marketplace.
